currently hiring for a Funeral Director
Job Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Associates Degree in Mortuary Science at an accredited mortuary college
• Active Utah Funeral Service Director License
• Current state issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Job/Skill Expectations
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail with interpersonal and presentation skills
• Care for the deceased including embalming, dressing, cosmetology, casketing
• Knowledgeable in cremation ceremonies and cremation process
• Treat each family with the utmost respect and kindness
• Work evenings, weekends, holidays and be on call on a rotation basis
• Possess high emotional intelligence and have the ability and confidence to support grieving
families
• Exceptionally high moral standards
• Places client satisfaction as a top priority
• Excellent customer service skills
• Self-starter, team player, and positive attitude
• Problem-solver
• Ability to multi-task and set priorities
• Adhere to dress and grooming company policy
