LIFETIME SERVICE RECOGNITION AWARD
Each year the UFDA board selects retired or near retirement funeral professionals to receive the Lifetime Service Recognition award. We are always looking for nominations from members to recognize funeral professionals who have dedicated their career to improving the profession and providing exceptional service to the community.
WHAT ARE THE CRITERIA FOR THE AWARD?
Individuals are selected from nominated or known professionals who have had a career as a dedicated funeral director with noteworthy contributions to the profession, the association, and the community.
HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE SELECTED EACH YEAR?
The UFDA board strives to select 2-4 individuals to receive the award each year.
HOW ARE THEY RECOGNIZED?
- Each awardee and a guest receive complimentary tickets to UFDA’s Annual Convention banquet.
- They are invited to have their family and other guests attend the banquet to highlight their personal and career contributions to the profession and community.
- They are presented a plaque and are given an opportunity to share some remarks.
